Chatarrería Orgásmica VOL. I and II are two audiovisual pieces made using clippings from YouTube video tutorials showing different ways to make DIY sex toys. Through the technique of found footage I reinterpret the tutorial videos in an attempt to subvert their normative logic and create content that questions the imaginary hegemonic around masturbation on the net to re-signify it, and turn it into post-porn content.

Chatarrería Orgásmica belongs to the SOFIA Y EL SEXO series, a series of works carried out over a period of four years as a result of a research process that began in 2016, starting from the concept of sexuality and later focusing on the investigation of masturbatory practices and other forms of self-management of pleasure, and its representation on the Internet.

Chatarrería Orgásmica VOL.I y II son dos piezas audiovisuales hechas mediante recortes de videos tutoriales de YouTube en los que se muestran distintas maneras de hacer juguetes sexuales DIY. A través de la técnica del metraje encontrado o found footage, reinterpreto los video tutoriales en un intento de subvertir sus lógicas normativas y crear un contenido que cuestione el imaginario hegemónico entorno a la masturbación en la red, para resignificarlo y convertirlo en contenido postpornográfico.

Chatarrería Orgásmica pertenece a la serie SOFYA Y EL SEXO, una serie de trabajos realizados en un periodo de cuatro años fruto de un proceso de investigación que comenzó en 2016, partiendo del concepto de la sexualidad, para más tarde focalizarse en la investigación de las prácticas masturbatorias y otras formas de autogestión del placer y su representación en la red.
