ENG _STILL WAITING 2018_

Still Waiting is an installation that takes place at the Estonian House in Berlin on the occasion of the group exhibition Ab 33 bis 17, together with my colleagues Calypso Keane (UK), Rebeka Vaino (Estonia) and Zuza Banasinska (Poland).

During the inauguration I did a review of the Waiting performance performed at the Womanhouse in 1974 by Faith Wilding. Through this reinterpretation Still Waiting talks about the construction of women's identity according to the new mechanisms of oppression.

Still Waiting es una instalación que tiene lugar en la Estonian House de Berlín con motivo de la exposición colectiva Ab 33 bis 17, junto con mis compañeras Calypso Keane (UK), Rebeka Vaino (Estonia) y Zuza Banasinska (Poland).

Durante la inauguración performé una revisión de la performance Waiting realizada en la Womanhouse Faith Wilding en el año 1974. A través de esta reinterpretación Still Waiting habla de la construcción de la identidad de la mujer según los nuevos mecanismos de opresión.
